The TKE-3200W is a standard size reverse osmosis tank that comes complete with a tank stand. This tank can be used with virtually any standard "under sink" style reverse osmosis system. The tank comes pre-charged at 4 psi - so does not need adjustment when first installed. It can sit upright or sits easily on its' side on the supplied stand.ᅠ Also, be sure to choose either a 1/4" or 3/8" valve available on the "Tank" page or from the "related products" section) Tank Dimensions: Width:11 inᅠ Height:ᅠ15 in Depth:ᅠ11 in Weight: 10 lbs Periodically, just like the tires in a car, the tank pressure needs to be adjusted. Here's how you do it:Required materials Bicycle pump Low pressure gauge (must start at “0” psi) Turn off the water supply to the RO unit (turn saddle valve attached to cold water pipe many times clockwise until it will no longer turn). Open the RO faucet to relieve pressure. Drain the RO storage tank by allowing the water to run from the RO faucet until the flow stops. Physically lift the storage tank. If it is heavy (i.e. it still has water inside), proceed to step “5". If it is not heavy, the pressure inside the tank is OK and you don't need to go to step "6". Open the air valve cap on the tank (it looks like a valve on car or bike tires. Some tank models have it on the bottom, others at the side and some at the top). Depress the valve with something small, such as a key or a pen. If water comes from the valve, the bladder inside the tank is ruptured and the tank must be replaced. If water does not come from the valve, attach a bike pump and pump 10 strokes into the tank. Water will start flowing from the drinking water spigot (which you left open in step “3”). Wait until water stops flowing from the faucet. When it does, lift the tank and see if it is still heavy with water. If it is, repeat step “7”. If the tank is empty, continue to step “9”. Once the water has stopped flowing from the faucet, use your pressure gauge and bike pump to adjust the tank pressure between 4 and 8 psi.
